Ray Bouchard, CIC
President & Chairman of the Board
Ray has served as President of Bouchard Insurance, Inc. since 2001. He joined Bouchard in 1984 and specializes in providing comprehensive risk management consulting and agency services for clients throughout the southeast. Ray graduated from Florida State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is past Chairman of the Board for Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida and the Gulf Coast Chapter. He also served as the Insurance Division President of the Florida Bankers Association. Ray holds Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Ray received numerous Client Retention awards and was named Producer of the Year for Bouchard multiple times. He was awarded Employer of the Year by the Insurance Women of Upper Pinellas in 2001. He has been and is an officer and a member of several organizations such as Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Pinellas, Clothes to Kids, Inc. and is a member of the Copperheads, the organization that produces the Transitions Championship, a local PGA golf event.
Ray currently serves on the FCCI Insurance Groups Agents Council (Past Chair) and the Hanover Insurance Company’s National Agents Advisory Council. He is a past Chairman for the CNA Insurance Florida PACER council and has served on regional and national committees for PACER. Most recently, Ray has been nominated to serve as a Board member of the Florida Insurance Agents Association (FAIA).
Ray is extremely proud of numerous recent agency achievements such as; being named a 2008 National Underwriter’s Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year finalist, Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Employer of the year in 2009, and a Florida Trend “Best Companies to Work For in 2009”.
Ray is married to wife Niki and has three daughters. They are members of the First Church of the Ascension - Episcopal Church. He enjoys golf, fishing, photography, FSU and Buccaneer football.
